If you didn’t know, we have to manually approve user blogs to make sure that no one posts anything inappropriate (racism, porn, spam, etc.). What’s going on is that when we try to approve blog posts it either takes a really long time to approve or it’ll just time out the browser because of how long it’s taking to go through and will never publish the blog posts. What we’re going to do is look into either another blog plugin or blog options for the site, but until then we’re going to close the blog feature since the plugin we’re using is basically broken.
A lot of the blogs that were waiting to be published were a couple of sentences long, for the most part, so we encourage you all to keep using the forums. If there are any suggestions for new topics for the forums, by all means, let us know. I know there have been quite a few already and I will start working on them ASAP.
