Been watching through the DCEU before The Snyder Cut drops.

Watched Suicide Squad last night…..
Oh my fuckin goddamn words cant express how bad it is.
There’s like 3 good aspects of it….
1. It’s not woke
2. Women are allowed to be hot
3. I like the Joker/Harley scenes (Leto’s, actually, not a bad Joker. He’s just got the worst fucking costume ever.)

Otherwise, fuck this trash. And, I’m sorry, Margot Robbie is a terrible Harley Quinn. Yeah, she’s pretty hot and makes my dick happy but, as the character Harley Quinn, just no.

The only DCEU movie that’s worse is Shazam (I know everyone else loves Shazam. I didnt find any aspect of the PG comedy funny or any part of the story interesting.) WW84 or Birds of Prey might be worse. I havent watched them.

But, it did inspire me to rewatch Batman: Assault on Arkham which is a fucking great Suicide Squad movie.

Harley Quinn is the worst thing to happen to Suicide Squad and I think of her as a guilty pleasure character. Really, the team is much better without her.

Assault on Arkham is an outlier.

I didnt give a shit about the Suicide Squad before Harley Quinn was added to it so I’m not hating on her being included.
I’m hating on Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn. Which most people seem to think is the one good thing about that movie.

The marketing was misleading.

And alot of people I know wanted a Deadshot spinoff, instead of the garbage that was The Birds of Prey… Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey… Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn…

I have little hope for THE SUICIDE SQUAD, and the Gotham City Sirens.

James Gunn may be a jerk but he’s good at his craft. I expect The Suicide Squad to be pretty good.
I didnt know they were still doing a Gotham City Sirens movie. If it’s not super woke and preachy, it could be good. I do like that group.
I have 0 interest in ever seeing Will Smith’s Deadshot again. That wasnt Floyd Lawton. That was Will Smith playing a below average version of Will Smith.

It doesnt matter how it was marketed. It was a bad story, boring characters and a very poor interpretations of most of those characters.

The game looks AMAZING. I can’t wait and I hope it’s basically Batman Arkham Asylum but we play as the bad guys :D Really really hope it’s a passable experience at least lol. Oh and that Gotham game where we get to play as Batgirl and Robin/Nightwing. Ughhhh I need these to come out now lol. I’m a massive Nightwing and Oracle fan.

You either commented on the wrong thread or didnt actually read the initial post before you commented. This thread is about the Suicide Squad movie (hence, it’s in the movies forum :D)

That being said, Suicide Squad Vs. the Justice League looks like a piece of shit and is confirmed to be a live service game. It will be nothing like the Arkham series. Not saying it will be bad. I’m just not convinced it will be good and it will, 100%, not be like the Arkham games.

Gotham Knights does look pretty cool. Dont like that they have Mark Waid involved but when it comes out and I dont hear from every one that it’s a bunch of SJW trash, I’ll check it out.

The movie is basically a longer trailer. Nothing makes sense. it’s one of the worst movies I ever watched.

I bought the movie on iTunes a while back…I’m afraid to watch it because Jared Leto. Even though someone told me he is barely in the movie.

I just don’t really like the current DC motion picture aesthetic.

It was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. Embarrassing really. There were a couple of good scenes. I liked the witch hand part.

I’m saddened to hear that Harley Quinn isn’t good in the film? Harley Quinn is one of my all time favorite DC characters. LOVED her in Arkham City and Origins. I thought from the trailers, Suicide Squad Harley’s performance looked similar? Is that not the case?

Side note, finally playing Batman The Enemy Within and she’s fantastic there too :D

For me the problem with Suicide Squad wasn’t the story but the execution

The story had lots of potential, but it was told in a confused and extremely slow manner 😴

Jared Leto is, actually, not bad. If he would have been in it more, the movie would have been better.
He’s not really a bad Joker but he’s in the worst fucking costume ever and it really distracts from his performance.
I would be down to see him play the character again.

The Joker/Harley stuff was, easily, the best scenes in the movie.

The character in The Enemy Within is Harley, in name only.
But the game, itself, is pretty fucking good, anyway.

It is full of the modern SJW agenda but they, actually, wrote a good story so it’s pretty easy for me to ignore it.
