The WEF is wrong.  Dead wrong.  They think they can social engineer the world from on high and depopulate the world significantly and have their lives stay just as cushy.  This won’t work.  And it is Elon who pointed this out recently.

One of the sole reasons we as humans have progressed so far with technology is specialization.  We have so many folks in the world we can afford to concentrate on research and development in any number of areas while still sustaining ourselves.

If the WEF is successful in depopulating the world significantly this stops and we return to a lifestyle from 150 years ago.

Musk recently mentioned that to be even more successful we need MORE people.  To further specialize and do even more research.  He believes this means colonizing other places to push humans to places we cannot even conceive of right now.

Musk is correct.  The WEF is wrong.

Musk’s thought process could bring about a future where we colonize other planets.  The WEF will have us in the dark ages.

I disagree 10000000000000000000000%. Very strongly in fact.

And no, I have no interest in supporting the WEF.

For me the fact is that more people = More problems, more pollution, more resources needed, more crime, more garbage, more war, more conflict, more disease, more health care problems, more food which also means more animals slaughtered and crops to grow as well as water needed. The quality of our food is trash right now, and that is because of overpopulation. Re-growing crops on the same land over and over has lost the nutrients. We need the population cut in half imo. Yes, a Thanos incident. There needs to be tax cut and life incentives for people to NOT have children. What we do need is quality, not quantity. 10 well rounded and well educated humans who can contribute instead of 100 who really do nothing to contribute to society other than pay taxes and consume. To some that may sound horrible, to me it sounds wonderful, and what the future needs to be. Every time I hear a baby born at work I feel only despair. I see nothing exciting about it. I am NOT having children.

And also a big NO to colonizing other places and spreading the disease of humanity to ruin other planets like we have this one. Until humanity learns to co-exist HERE, we should never ever spread anywhere else. The same problems will just be taken there, such as war.

I am quite sure the WEF would agree with you 100%.  But what you surmise is only the case if the human species does not evolve in any way.  You are assuming there would be more people over time and that we would never learn more or do anything different than now.  That does not follow the arc of human history.

” The quality of our food is trash right now”

The entire world is not the USA.  In many places in the world, maybe even most, food is far more natural and not so mechanical and factory as it is here.  From what I gather what you state might even be the case for other places in the west but in the east it’s very different.  But I will admit this is all my perception from my place in the US.

“We need the population cut in half imo”

Then you better be willing to cut your standards of living in more than half because the things you are accustom too are not possible with half the population.

“There needs to be tax cut and life incentives for people to NOT have children”

Dude, western populations are already falling dramatically. This is one of the reasons they use for opening the borders in western countries.  And it is no accident, your WEF buddies have engineered this over decades.

“And also a big NO to colonizing other places and spreading the disease of humanity to ruin other planets like we have this one”

Wow, you consider yourself a disease?  Or is that just other people?

We have not ruined anything.  Sure we can poison the Earth and take ourselves out but the Planet will be fine. There is nothing we can do to stop life on this planet, that is beyond our capability.  Could we harm it for a time?  Sure.  But let’s not pretend for a second that humans are that powerful, because we are not.

          .

You hold a very dim view of humanity, and I find that unfortunate.  Yes, there are parts of it that are dim.  But there is plenty of it that is beautiful.  At the end of the day we are God’s creations although we often times don’t act that way.  We are meant to be here and to thrive and flourish.

Let’s end on a point of agreement.  I think regardless of how many people are here, we cannot treat the Earth like a factory.  Meaning, there are ways to farm and to process animals that are not so unhealthy (and many places do it this way now but it needs to be universal).  And I agree with you about the food in the west.  Food should not come from a factory it should come from a farm of one type or another.
