It is not the “two party system” that is the problem. That system worked for over 200 years perfectly fine. What the problem has become is a two tiered justice system with an absolute corrupt media, combined with a republican party who just does not understand when your opponents want to get in the mud and weeds to fight you use a flame thrower to burn and dry them out.
It is high time that the States use the power of the Constitutional Convention. Go in with the few amendments to rain-in the Federal Government and its corruption and decrease its size substantially, putting the nation back on track. Now if you listen to the Media when this subject pops up they make all kinds of arguments why it wont work… The absolute truth is 38 states agreeing to amendments is all that is needed under the Constitution.
Two amendments which have that support in the states are (Balanced Budget and Term Limits) Several others are near that 38 mark last I looked (Replace the Income tax and business tax with a Sales tax) Locking down the border with a wall, and Immigration Law (telling people how they may come here to be a citizen) and because of Covid many want amendments that limit the Federal Agencies powers to declare emergencies or have mandates.
I cannot tell you if it will happen. It needs to, currently 30 states have signed on, 2 more triggers it.
