I don’t have a camera right now, so I’ll post my apologies here:
I apologize for buying a black G.I. Joe doll back in 1978 because it was on clearance and he had a camoflauge outfit, this took away from an African American
child who went without because I bought it. I apologize for buying Lando Calrissian action figures, Stalker and Roadblock, I was unaware that I was merely
making these toys scarce for African American children, never thinking about anything but collecting these characters because they were part of the team. I
apologize for buying a Mr. T A-Team doll in the 80s as well, for the same reasons. I apologize for thinking Carl Weathers was cool and that all these 80s iconic
heroes could be looked up to when they were simply oppressed actors used by a racist system which was merely exploiting them. I apologize for watching SWAT, T.J.Hooker, The Rookies, Hill Street Blues, Adam 12, Sledge Hammer and other cop shows, not realizing that these were fascist propaganda promoting
oppression and police brutality. I apologize for consuming Disney Products from 1976 to 2009, not realizing how racist and overly white all the characters were
and that Disney’s past is full of racist stereotypes. I apologize for paying money to see Bad Robot productions, not realizing they were promoting white supremacy
until 2020 when they had to inform their employees to stop being white supremecists.
