Why was Bertholt becoming skinnier?

So I hope everybody reading this must have watched Attack on Titan Season 3 at least one time for sure because you won’t understand if you haven’t watched it yet!

Bertholt, Armin, and Rod Reiss all were humans before the titan crisis came into their life. When Armin made Bertholt his titan so he already warned everyone that the huge he will go, the skinnier he will get.

But in the end, Rod Reiss was the biggest titan ever!

If you’re asking why Bertholt gets skinny and Rod doesn’t i think it’s ’cause Rod became a pure titan, while Bertholt is a human with titan powers, aka humans get tired titans don’t

If you think back to when they were fighting Annie in female-titan form, Levi tells Mikasa Annie’s getting tired out and is slowing down, no other titans have ever seemed to slow down from fatigue before
