Remember X-Men: Evolution? This particular iteration ran for 4 seasons beginning with Season 1 premier “Strategy X” and ended with the two-part series finale “Ascension” and depicted young versions of the iconic mutant superheroes. In my opinion, it was fairly solid series worthy of my attention, although nothing will ever compare to X-Men: The Animated Series. That’s coming from someone who more of a Spider-Man fan, but I digress. Like I said, it ran for 4 seasons but I would’ve like to see a fifth season, maybe even a sixth. It got me thinking what sort of storylines could’ve been done. We could’ve seen “Days Of Future Past” “Age Of Apocalypse” or perhaps “The Phoenix Saga” but those have been done to death.

Personally, I would’ve like to have seen something pertaining to the Astral Plane. I think we could’ve gotten something along the lines of after the battle with Apocalypse, a doorway of sort could’ve been opened leading into the Astral Plane, resulting in the debut of the Shadow King as the main antagonist.

That’s just my idea, but what do you think? What storyline could’ve been pursued and who could’ve been the main antagonist?

Age of Apocalypse hasn’t been done to death. No one’s attempted it yet outside that short tease in Wolverine and The X-men. Hopefully that storyline gets an entire phase of films in the MCU one day with the lead in being Onslaught and Fatal Attractions before it.

I completely forgot about Wolverine And The X-Men and the Age Of Apocalypse tease at the end. A poor oversight on my part. As far as the MCU goes, I’m done with it since it’s pretty much going W.O.K.E.
