Baltimore Orioles’ John Means Throws A No-Hitter

Snaps The Longest Active No-Hitter Drought In MLB

Baltimore Orioles Pitcher John Means put his name in the record books today by throwing the 307th No-Hitter in Major League Baseball history to beat the Seattle Mariners.

With the first no-hitter for the Baltimore Orioles since 1969, John Means snapped what was the longest active drought in the MLB.  That dubious record is now held by the Cleveland Indians, who haven’t had one since Len Barker’s perfect game in 1981.
