MGS 5 was a good game but a bad MGS game. The twists were retarded and kinda ruined the MGS lore but the game as a standalone was good. Actually really good. Until…. the halfway point. The game was released half done so the second half was just the same missions as the first ine but with different handicaps.
About AC games, I feel like the older ones (especially AC2 which is considered the best) are overrated. For me, peak AC was Black Flag followed by Unity.
sonic the black knight, i loved that game when i was a kid, although i get why it was hated
and saints row 4 was awesome i understand why ppl who were use to the down to earth style of the first 3 were mad, but to me the old ones just seemed like off brand gta games, saints row 4 was way more exciting and fun, the super power mechanics were awesome, being able to run like the flash, glide through the air and slam to the ground, i spent time just jumping from buildings. theres so much fun to be had in just free roaming.
the story was epic, i like how it starts with a man being defeated and losing everything and being put into a simulation, and then having to rise up and defeat an entire alien army on his own. the story had fun and didnt take itself seriously. its my favorite single player game of all time. its a shame there will never be another like it, i understand how it was a left turn from what fans were use to, but it was a good game.
I love Saints Row IV. Easily, the best in the series, for me.
I think it falls into the category of “A game with vocal haters” more than an unliked game.
Here is my list. Next to them my score, with current user score from metacritic in brackets.
*These were very poorly recieved initially, but user score seems to come around since then.
The fact you give TLOU2 a 9.5 invalidates your opinion on anything gaming related, as far as me taking it seriously.
You’re free to have that opinion. I’m free to think it’s a joke.
I dont like numbered review scores, period and damn sure dont think critic or user scores on some website mean anything.
Giving reasons you like something is useful to conversation or debate. A list of numbers is a waste of time.

Clearly not if you decide without even hearing any reasons that my opinion is invalid. LOL
You also say numbered scores are meaningless. They are sure as hell meaningful to you if you can decide not even wanting to hear my opinion because of a numbered score.
So congratulations I guess for managing to contradict yourself on two separate occasions in such a short post.
But first thing’s first, did you even play the game? Because I’m not going to argue with hearsay, you can forget that (talk about invalid opinions)
The Last of Us 2 is the best game I ever played on console, not just on PS4, on any generation console. And in some respects it is the best period, even including PC as a platform. The attention to detail in it is insane, the gameplay and animations are polished to perfection. There is no other game that even comes close to the quality of character animations in the game, and the way the game strings them together seamlessly. It is also the only game where shooting and aiming with a controller worked perfectly without using aim assists
