Star Wars prequels were better than the original, change my mind

One thing I didn’t like about RotS was the overall portrayal of General Grevious.  Leading up to RotS I’d be reading up on this new imposing bad-ass looking part living alien/cyborg villain who has killed Jedi and collects their lightsabers as trophies etc (also who from what I remember was initially supposed to be originally voiced by Gary Oldman) and in the movie I thought his portrayal (no matter how cool he looked) was unintentionally funny and goofy for the most part and not the imposing villain I was hoping to see (in the actual movie anyway).  Same with Darth Sidious, he was mostly unintentionally goofy and comical for the most part of the movie.

I completely agree, imo episode 3 is the best one and it’s not even close!

The prequels had cringy dialogue, but the originals had some of the worst acting I’ve ever seen and serious pacing issues.

I think Revenge of the Sith definitely rivals the OT, but Menace and Clones are easily the weakest of the six, even though I still like both of them.
