A correction – after the success of Spiderman, Toei wanted to follow up with a Captain America series. Legal issues eventually turned the character into Miss America, and the concept was expanded into Battle Fever J.

Marvel does partially own the rights to BFJ, Denziman, and Sun Vulcan, and recently included a Battle Japan adaptation in Tech-On Avengers.
