What are your top 10 favorite games guys? I admit, I wouldn’t be suprised if this topic was created before… but I love top 10s. So what are your top 10 fave gamse? Mine are;

10. Skyrim

9. Knights of the Old Republic

8. Knights of the Temple: Infernal Crusade

7. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

6. Super Castlevania IV/ Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

5. Final Fantasy VI (originally III in the USA)

4. Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future

3. Donkey Kong Country trilogy

2. God of War series (all of them; last one was best but amazing series as a whole)

1. The Witcher trilogy

And there are lots of other games I love which is why it was hard to list to compose.

When I get asked broad questions like this I tend to draw a blank, and my tastes change so much it’s hard for my list to be really static. But to try and narrow down a top 10…

10. Star Wars Bounty Hunter

9. Custom Robo (‘Custom Robo: Battle Revolution’ if you want to get picky)

8. Metroid Prime 1

7. Chrono Trigger

6. Bomberman 64: The Second Attack

5. Super Mario RPG: Legend of The Seven Stars

4. Star Wars Battlefront II (Lucasarts SWBFII)

3. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest

2. Mega Man X1

1. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask

But really, 1-3 are the only ones that are somewhat locked into position. The others bounce around all the time.

Solid choices. Never played Mass Effect but wait they censored them? How? I was thinking of picking them up; is there a way to play original versions?

The original versions are on PS3, Xbox 360, Backwards compatability with Xbox One and PC.

The Legendary Edition is censored and altered to “empower women”.
The extent of the censorship isnt known but I think it will be a lot more than sitting animations and camera angles.
Plus, it doesnt really look that good.

Listing Skyrim but not including Morrowind should be against the law or something.

I have no particular order as my favorites tend to change, but if I had to pick ten games I’ve enjoyed the most I’d say:

– Sonic 3 (& Knuckles)
– AM2R (Metroid II remake)
– Morrowind
– Dragon Age: Origins
– Batman: Arkham City
– Zelda: Majora’s Mask
– DOOM (2016)
– Gears of War
– Half-Life
– Knights of the Old Republic

I’d really like to see another game make it into my top 10. Smash Ultimate only made it in because it has a bigger roster than Melee and lacks the disappointment in Brawl. I guess there’s Doom/Doom II with mods and it does have one of the best gaming communities ever and even holds their own Grammies (the Cacowards) at the end of every year.

I haven’t actually played Morrowind. I only played Skyrim and Oblivion. I might give Morrowind a try someday.

I’m very surprised not to see The Last of Us 2 on any of these lists. Game journalists keep telling me that it’s the most popular, beloved, bestest game EVARRRRR! ;-)

Here’s Mine :

10 – Fallout 4 (sacrilege, I know, but I love to just chill out and build settlements)
9 – Skyrim
8 – Cyberpunk 2077 (all of CDPR’s bullshit aside, I love the game)
7 – Dark Souls 3
6 – Far Cry 3 : Blood Dragon
5 – Forza Motorsport 4 (The last ‘pure’ Forza, before they went crazy with DLC and microtransactions)
4 – Dead Space
3 – R-Type
2 – South Park : The Stick of Truth
1 – Monster Hunter World
