  • Donald Trump’s attorneys reached an agreement with Attorney General Letitia James’ office in court Monday — leading to Judge Arthur Engoron agreeing to accept the $175 million bond in his civil fraud case.

At issue was James’ concern that the bond offered by Knight Specialty Insurance Company had a Charles Schwab account owned by Trump as collateral — while Trump still had access to the funds in it.

That was only one issue, but it was a sticking point until…

Ultimately, after a back and forth, Judge Engoron agreed to the pledge by (Trump’s lawyer, Chris) Kise to maintain the Schwab account in cash and give the Knight Insurance company complete control of it.

The previous offer had Trump’s trust sharing control.

“Andrew Amer says ‘the AG is fine with all these conditions stipulated on the record.'” Scharf wrote.

“Judge accepts it, and court is adjourned.

Now the appeal can fully and completely happen.

Letitia James Under Pressure to Show Why She Rejected Trump Bond

New York Attorney General Letitia James will have to explain why her challenge to Donald Trump’s $175 million bond was not taken “unnecessarily and for vexation,” a judge has ruled.

Because she most likely NEVER had any intention to accept anything except total destruction of Trump’s financial/property portfolio.

Judge Arthur Engoron set an April 22 hearing after Trump’s legal team filed a large amount of paperwork on Monday to prove that Knight Specialty Insurance Company (KSIC) was legally permitted to post the bond for Trump.

Because is it NOT a DEMon/woke controlled company (whom would never post the bond – as all those previous 30(?) institutions refused to do as was reported when Trump was trying to get the BOND.)

If Trump wins the case on April 22, James will have to pay the costs of the former president reapplying to the court with new bond paperwork.

    Don’t you mean “When”?

James sought an “exception” to Trump’s $175 million bond, which under New York law means a challenge to his validity.

Because she does NOT want an appeal, which most likely would overturn the damages and the pre-trial “guilty” verdict.

KSIC and Trump filed a large number of documents to show that Knight had the financial backing to issue the bond and that Trump had fully supported the bond with cash.

In an attempt by the corrupt DA to make getting the BOND approved, by having demanded all this extra paperwork, which they did manage to provide.

Their joint statement, filed to Judge Arthur Engoron on Monday, said KSIC’s $175 million bond was collateralized by the $175,304,075.95 Trump had placed in a Charles Schwab bank account and which was specifically pledged to KSIC.

So the BOND is fully covered, held in a well established bank.

And now we are seeing why.

Trump asks to be allowed to post $100 million bond in NY fraud case instead of ‘impossible’ $464 million judgment

In a filing with the state Appellate Division Wednesday, Trump’s attorneys said it would be “impossible” for the billionaire to post the full amount given the restrictions in the ruling handed down by Judge Arthur Engoron in the civil fraud case brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Which is something these DEMoncrats James want.

“The exorbitant and punitive amount of the Judgment coupled with an unlawful and unconstitutional blanket prohibition on lending transactions would make it impossible to secure and post a complete bond. Appellants nonetheless plan to secure and post a bond in the amount of $100 million,” the filing said.

They rigged the trail, with a pre-determined guilty and a pre-determined amount, then made is so he would not be able to meet that amount.

Without a stay with the lowered bond amount, Trump’s lawyers argue, “properties would likely need to be sold to raise capital under exigent circumstances, and there would be no way to recover any property sold following a successful appeal and no means to recover the resulting financial losses from the Attorney General.”

And if he had to sell, the potential buyers would know of this desperation and will deliberately LOWBALL their offers, further penalizing Trump.

James’ office quickly opposed the request.

    Of course they were.

“Defendants all but concede that Mr. Trump has insufficient liquid assets to satisfy the judgment; defendants would need ‘to raise capital’ to do so. These are precisely the circumstances for which a full bond or deposit is necessary,” Fan’s filing said, adding that “there is substantial risk that defendants will attempt to evade enforcement of the judgment (or make enforcement more difficult) following appeal.”

Following an appeal there, if justice to be be had, the amount and original pre-trial ruling will be tossed.

In their filing Wednesday, Trump’s attorneys contended the award handed down by Engoron should have been closer to $100 million. “Among the Judgment’s myriad errors, more than $350 million of the nearly $465 million awarded in disgorgement is barred by the statute of limitations,” they contended.

And what was the original court ruling on that?

The AG’s office said those arguments have already been rejected by the judge, and are likely to be rejected by the appeals court as well.

As was a fair trial.  That too was rejected by this “judge”.

Trump filed his notice of appeal in the case last week, saying they wanted the court to determine whether Engoron “committed errors of law and/or fact, and whether he abused his discretion and/or acted in excess of his jurisdiction” when he handed down the judgment they called “staggering” in the filing Wednesday.

“Committed errors of law and/or facts.” is obvious!

There was no victim.  There was no fraud.  There was no unpaid-in-full amounts owing the banks/lenders.  And the banks not only proved all that and more, they also wanted to do MORE business/loans with Trump and his organizations.

And don’t forget, when told this might make investors and property developers wanting to skip NY, what did they say, to paraphrase: “we only wanted to go after Trump.  Everyone else can continue to use the same methods Trump did.”

This was a weaponizing of the justice system to go after political opponents.

OK. It was Prodigy by Image Comics. They also had one called Prodigy: This Icarus Society. That one I liked.
No wonder I liked it. Mark Millar was on it.

Last thing, but the OP was good because if we want Eric to succeed, authentic feedback matters.

If someone did, like, John Boyega in the role of Prodigy, there would be no need for a black James Bond.

It is not inspired by lol, it is using the Professors name to try and sell a steaming pile of turd.  I am just happy I have all the original works and can enjoy them anytime I want.  But I am thinking House of the Dragon will be far better.

I got in to it with one SJW who ended up calling me a Racist, lmao, Ya knew the conversation was hilarious until that point… His question (Would you be mad if James Bond was black or I bet you are mad about House of the Dragon having black people in it.

I replied. Yes I would be Mad if Bond was black as that is not who he is…. It would be like them making a show about African history and lores and having a bunch of white people in it. It would be wrong. As to House of the Dragon, well the author of the books is still alive and very active in it, so if he says it is fine in his cannon who am I to argue with him… Yup call a racist for it… These people are so predictable, always to the same thing ( ism, ist, phobia etc).

Producer Barbara Broccoli Says They Are ‘Reinventing’ James Bond, Says ‘Nobody’s In The Running’ As Next 007

Just the headlines give off bad vibes.

“Nobody’s in the running,” longtime Bond franchise producer Barbara Broccoli revealed…

Broccoli, whose father Sir Albert Broccoli first brought Ian Fleming’s British spy to the screen, now controls the franchise through her company, Eon Productions.

      Why is that?

“We’re working out where to go with him, we’re talking that through,” Broccoli says. “There isn’t a script and we can’t come up with one until we decide how we’re going to approach the next film because, really, it’s a reinvention of Bond. We’re reinventing who he is and that takes time.”

      Reinventing?  Rebooting?  Reimagining?  Ruining!

In “No Time To Die”, Craig’s Bond was killed off following a standoff with villain Saffin (Rami Malek). Co-star Ralph Fiennes, who was present at the BFI Fellowship dinner alongside Broccoli, quips that his character M, and Naomie Harris’s Moneypenny might be the ones to get a new 007 up to speed in the next film.

“Naomie and I are the people to fix it. You find him and we’ll train him,” he says.

So is James Bond just a code name then?

      Just like the term 007.

Broccoli previously stated that the role should go to a man, though he could be of any ethnicity, as long as he’s British.

How many non-British serves on Her Majesty’s Secret Service/is in the British Armed Forces?

“I believe in making characters for women and not just having women play men’s roles,” Broccoli..

“I don’t think there are enough great roles for women, and it’s very important to me that we make movies for women about women. He should be British, so British can be any [ethnicity or race].”

So long as they HONOUR Fleming’s character.  But race swapping just for the sake of race swapping is also a non-starter for me.

Now if the actor is himself British?  That I think should go to the best actor for the part/script… so long as He is still a HE.

For me, a Jane Bond is a non-starter.

He said The King’s Man was pretty good. I like Kingsman in the past. Enjoyed the first two. I think it’s a good example that spy franchises can succeed outside of James Bond. The direct, Matthew Vaughan, supposedly really wants to do a Cavill Superman movie. After this, he might be the director for a Cavill James Bond?

It is set in World War 1.

In 1902, British aristocrat and Duke of Oxford, Orlando, his wife Emily, and their young son Conrad visit an aid camp in South Africa during the Boer War while working for The Red Cross. Emily is killed during a Boer sniper attack on the camp, causing Orlando, a sworn pacifist, to determine that the world needs someone to head off such conflicts before they occur.

Twelve years later, Orlando recruits two of his servants, Shola and Polly, into his spy network dedicated to protecting the United Kingdom and the British Empire from the approaching Great War. Conrad, eager to fight, is forbidden to join-up by the over-protective Orlando, who speaks with Herbert Kitchener, the leader of the British war effort, to ensure Conrad cannot enlist. Orlando and Conrad also meet Captain Morton, one of Kitchener’s military associates.

Conrad and Orlando ride with Archduke Franz Ferdinand in a parade through Sarajevo, Bosnia, and Conrad saves the Archduke from a bomb thrown by Gavrilo Princip, a rebel intent on sparking a war. Later, however, Princip happens to run into the Archduke’s entourage again, this time succeeding in fatally shooting Ferdinand and his wife.

Orlando’s group, composed mostly of other dignitaries’ socially invisible servants, learn that Princip was part of a plot to pit the German, Russian, and British empires against each other. The group, headed by a mysterious Shepherd, have their own network of agents, including the Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin, a trusted advisor to Tsar Nicholas of Russia.

Rasputin, at the orders of the Shepherd, manipulates Tsar Nicholas by poisoning his young son, and only “curing” him when Tsar Nicholas promises to leave the war. Conrad is notified of Rasputin’s manipulation by his cousin who works under the Tsar. Knowing the Western Allied front will be left vulnerable if Russia leaves, Conrad delivers this information to Kitchener and Morton, who set sail for Russia. Their boat is torpedoed by the Shepherd, apparently killing them both. Word of Kitchener’s death reaches Orlando, spurring him to head to Russia with Shola, Polly, and Conrad to deal with Rasputin once and for all.

At a Christmas party hosted by Conrad’s cousin, Orlando attempts to poison Rasputin but the plan fails. Orlando, Shola, Conrad, and Rasputin fight, the skirmish only ending when Polly shoots and kills Rasputin. At the Shepherd’s orders, Erik Jan Hanussen, an advisor to Kaiser Wilhelm II, sends the Zimmerman Telegraph, hoping to distract Britain and the United States. However, President Woodrow Wilson refuses to join the war without concrete proof. The Shepherd recruits Vladimir Lenin and orders his Bolsheviks to overthrow the Tsar to get Russia out of the war.

Now of age, Conrad joins the British army against his father’s wishes. Orlando meets with King George V, who summons Conrad back to Britain. Conrad sends back a young soldier named Archie Reid in his place, giving him the codename “Lancelot.”

Conrad volunteers for a mission across No-Man’s Land to retrieve information from a British agent, mistaken for a German and caught in friendly fire. Conrad and a small squad venture across No-Man’s Land, but encounter German shock troopers crossing silently from the other side. The troops engage in a silent combat, unable to use firearms because it would set off both sides, killing everyone in the crossfire. Conrad is saved from an armoured soldier when the Tommy who led the mission shoots and kills his attacker, but the ensuing crossfire kills everyone but Conrad. Conrad manages to escape and bunker down in a crater where he meets the spy they were sent to retrieve. Conrad carries him back to the trenches but is mistaken for a German spy when he claims his name is Archie Reid. Conrad is shot and killed; however the information he retrieved from the spy is proof the United States needed to enter the war.

The proto-Kingsman learn President Wilson is being blackmailed with a film of him seduced by one of the Shepherd’s agents, Mata Hari. Orlando locates Hari at the American embassy and recovers her scarf, made from rare wool only found in one specific region of Scotland. Correctly identifying this location as the Shepherd’s base of operations, Orlando, Shola, and Polly head there and fight their way inside.

Morton, Kitchener’s adjutant, is revealed to be the Shepherd. Orlando and Shola kill Morton while Polly recovers the original film negative of Wilson’s seduction, allowing his country’s forces to mobilse.

A year on after the war, Orlando purchases the Kingsman Tailor Shop as a front for his organisation. Orlando, Shola, Polly, King George, and Archie Reid form the original Kingsman, each assuming a codename from the King Arthur legend to honor Conrad.

In a mid-credit scene, Erik Jan Hanussen introduces Lenin to a young Adolf Hitler.

It’s a shame that Bond has to be a Brit only as, yes there’s a lot of American actors that could easily pull him off. But I’ll stand by what I said before; Clive Owen would’ve made a great James Bond.

I personally don’t mind Daniel Craig’s Bond, but i still 100% agree with That Star Wars Girl’s review

Not the super woke garbage that was marketed, but still not great

Let me get this straight, SJWs constantly reeeeeeee about giving minorities more opportunities, and what happens when a young black woman becomes 007 after Bond retires? They go out of their way to make her as unlikeble as they fucking can! She’s annoying, entitled, and disrespectful, yes she has a change of heart by the end of the movie, but it’s so sudden and rushed that it makes it feel forced and fake

Best part of the movie by far is Paloma played by Ana de Armas, great performance and great character, she’s smart, badass, and respects James Bond, she got way too little screentime
