Supernatural Star Nicki Aycox Passes Away at 47

2022 has tragically claimed another life too soon. Nicki Aycox, known for her role as Meg Masters in Supernatural, passed away on November 16th. The cause of death hasn’t been announced, but it’s likely due to her leukemia diagnosis a year ago. Nicki’s sister-in-law confirmed the news, saying, “She was definitely a fighter and everyone who knew her loved her.”

Eric Kripke, the creator of Supernatural, celebrated her life with the tweet, “Gutted to hear the great Nicki Aycox, our first Meg Masters, passed away. Too young. She was a delight & delivered lines like honey & venom. I marvel at how she made a simple word like ‘lackluster’ legendary.” Nicki will be remembered and mourned by many, another star gone too soon.
