NieR:Automata has perhaps one of my favorite videogame soundtracks. So much so, that I even paid over $50 for the physical disc set at an anime convention.

Honkai Impact 3rd has pretty good songs too, despite being a mobile game. Listen to a fair amount of them repeatedly.

Metroid Prime Hunters and CrossCode has a sizeable amount of songs I often play on repeat in the background while I’m focused on other things like work, most notably the ones that play when you’re not in combat scenarios.

I have to agree Jeremy, super Mario Galaxy is my favorite game soundtrack, I also love odyssey’s and ocarina of times, but always listen to galaxies

There are a few Indeed that i Love, the Crash Bandicoot Soundtrack whas amazingly Fun, back in the day when Naughty Dog whas Cool, anyway, the Music in Need for Speed 2, and 3, basicly whas interactive and kept going faster at high speed, when You crashed, the Music chrashed too, also i Love the Dragon Age soundtracks, i have to agree on Mario aswell, sadly i only played Mario 64, i think it whas Awesome, one of the Best Platform Games i ever played😎

This forum is lacking some love for the Metroid Prime soundtrack, I don’t know if it’s my favorite video game soundtrack, but I do think it’s absolutely perfect. Without any doubt in my mind I would name this soundtrack as one of the greatest ever.

I’m a soundtrack collector so I have a pretty decent list of OST’s to choose from. And not just video games although I’ll only list those here since that’s the topic.

Resident Evil 0-5(including Code Veronica X)

HALO Reach, CE, CEA, 2, 3, ODST, Wars

Super Mario 64

Mario Kart 64

Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2

Pokemon R/B/G/Y

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Life is Strange(lucked out on that one)

As of right now that’s my video game soundtrack collection but eventually I want to find the Dynasty Warriors 5 OST since I’ve been passively looking for it for years. I wouldn’t mind having the Fallout 3, New Vegas, & 4 OST’s as well but I just haven’t committed to looking for them yet.

Donkey Kong Country may be one of the best soundtracks ever. Skyrim is also clutch
