A Haunting in Venice Trailer Hunts Ghosts

Today saw the release of another trailer for Kenneth Branagh’s A Haunting in Venice. The latest in Branagh’s Agatha Christie adaptations looks more like a horror movie than usual, with Michelle Yeoh playing a medium. Kelly Reilly, Tina Fey, and Jamie Dornan also join Branagh, who once again plays Christie’s famous Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot. Take a look here:

I enjoyed Kenneth Branagh’s versions of Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile, so I’m definitely interested in A Haunting in Venice. Branagh is a masterful director, and I like him a lot as an actor, too. I haven’t read any of the source material from Agatha Christie, so I’m curious about Michelle Yeoh’s character. This movie seems slightly different in tone and genre than the others, and I’m here for it. A Haunting in Venice heads to theaters on September 15th.
