Castlevania: Nocturne Trailer Stalks the Night

Today, Netflix released the first full trailer for Castlevania: Nocturne. The much-anticipated spinoff of the animated series based on the classic Konami video game franchise (which you can watch Blabs play here) follows Richter Belmont, a descendant of Trevor and Sypha in the original show. It tells the story of the game Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Castlevania: Nocturne will arrive on Netflix on September 28, 2023. Check out the trailer here:

I was going to watch Castlevania: Nocturne no matter what, but this show looks and sounds incredible. I loved the Castlevania series, and I was beyond thrilled when a spinoff was announced. The animation is just as strong here as it was then, and the snippets of the score in the trailer are phenomenal. I truly can’t wait to see Richter’s adventures play out on the show when it premieres this fall.
