Feud Season 2 Gets Title, Poster

Ryan Murphy’s Feud is returning seven years after season 1 focused on Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. Yesterday, FX released a poster and announced an air date for Capote vs. the Swans. This season is based on the bestselling book Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era by Laurence Leamer, an account of In Cold Blood author Truman Captote’s friendship with and betrayal of a group of high-society women. Tom Hollander stars as Truman Capote, with Naomi Watts, Diane Lane, Chloë Sevigny, Calista Flockhart, Demi Moore, and Molly Ringwald as the “swans;” Treat Williams, Joe Mantello, and Russell Tovey also star. Check out the poster below:

The show will have a two-part premiere on January 31st on FX, with a director’s cut of episode 1 premiering on FXX. As per usual, all episodes will be available on Hulu the day after they air. The season will run eight episodes.

I don’t know anything about the swans, and I actually missed season 1. I’m unsure why; I remember being interested, and I love Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange. I may check that out before season 2 comes out. Seven years is a bizarre gap between seasons of TV. Regardless, the poster alone has me interested.

What do you think? Did you watch season 1? Let us know in the comments!
