Disney Denies, Then Reaffirms, Snow White Pics

Remember those Snow White remake pictures from yesterday? A Disney representative initially denied that they were real. Now, another Disney employee has admitted that they are real and are from the film’s set. However, they clarify that the pictures, which came courtesy of the Daily Mail, are not official Disney promos. The articles have been updated in light of Disney’s admission, but you can see screenshots of the original headlines in Robby Starbuck’s tweet about it here:

This is just so embarrassing. Talk about the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. There needs to be better communication within Disney, it seems. It’s also hilarious to deny that these are officially released pics; that’s obvious, and nobody thought these were PR photos Disney would release. The question is how the costumes look. I want to say I’m not surprised, but it is kind of shocking to see such blatant incompetence from one of the biggest companies in the world.

But what do you think about the photos or either of Disney’s statements? Sound off in the comments!

Once again, credit for the pics goes to the Daily Mail.
