Stranger Things, which was recently reinvigorated by the immensely successful and well-received season 4, is the latest production to be affected by the writers’ strike. According to the Duffer Brothers’ Stranger Writers Twitter account:
“Writing does not stop when filming begins. While we’re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike. We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work. Until then — over and out.”
There is no word yet on whether this will affect the season’s projected release date. Only time will tell how long the strike will last, if their demands are met, and if Stranger Things’ future will be put in jeopardy.
