Exclusive Images and a Clip from The Mandalorian

Disney and Lucasfilm have released yet another car in the hype train to The Mandalorian’s season 3 premiere. This clip is titled “Ready,” revisiting numerous familiar faces. Check it out here: 

This clip does what it’s supposed to, creating excitement around an already hotly-anticipated season 3. Most of the footage and sound bytes are reused from previous episodes and trailers, so there isn’t too much to talk about here. Despite the show’s enormous popularity, in light of recent Disney+-related news, I wonder if they’re pushing so hard out of desperation. The Mandalorian is the main thing propping up their streaming service.

Empire also interviewed the Mandalorian himself, Pedro Pascal, who had this to say:

“What I love most about Season 3 is how much the world opens up in terms of Mandalore and Mandalorians. That means so many different facets of culture, politics, and rules and discoveries. Delicious doors are flying wide open.”

The photos look great, which is unsurprising, even if they reveal nothing about the upcoming season. I can’t wait to see it.
