First Apostle Trailer is Bloodsoaked

The first trailer for Gareth Evans’ (The Raid 1-2) horror thriller Apostle has hit the web and its pure bloody insanity. Check the Apostle trailer out below:

As a pretty big fan of Evans’ first three films, I was eagerly waiting to see what the director would do next. I didn’t expect him to branch from action to straight-up gory horror like this, but it has me all the more excited. This Apostle trailer is a goddamn fever dream and if it’s truly indicative of the film, a signal that this might be one of the horror films to watch out for this October. The performances, mainly from Michael Sheen and Dan Stevens, look phenomenal. The visuals also look amazing, the more beautiful shots of the scenery as well as the lurid and graphic nature of the violence. By all accounts, coming out of Fantastic Fest, this is gonna be a gruesomely violent film, and I’m so ready for it.
