You have to remember this site is still a “work in progress”.

So any input/issues we discover as the active users, helps them alot.

The like/booo button got fixed within a day. (I had that issue as well.)

And the “delete” option has been gone for some time now, IIRC.

Not an issue so much as a question. What is up with the accounts that have short names followed by a long number, that only seem to make redundant posts in the poll threads? I mean there had to be like a dozen different Gregbots.

I’m also curious lol they kinda seem like bots, but usually bots would leave links. they don’t put links, they post pics and list of favorite stuff… a bunch of pics in random topics, etc. lol
I think they’re all Greg… and Greg just likes to post stuff…

I can’t change my email or account name or have a delete button.

When is this going to get fixed? Can someone please fix this for me?

Usually users can’t delete threads in forums. Only mods / admins can.

But maybe they can make the Edit button enabled forever. I think right now we can only edit within 1h or something.

Question: How long does G&G Forums keep an inactive thread before it gets removed?

I was looking for something that was 18 months old, and I got an update I wanted to add, but I can’t find the thread.

And the search feature does not work to finding topics in the forums.

That delete button would come in handy. I make comments sometimes, but they tend to drift off-topic and I respect readers. Would like to delete comments for this reason.

@ComicsGate They did change it so that the ability to “EDIT” one’s post stays so long as you are longed in, or for an hour (if you log out and then come back in).

Good evening, everyone! I have a few updates concerning some of the aforementioned issues.

– The “Edit” function on the forum has been enabled indefinitely. We may reinstate some form of a time restriction in the future.

– The “Private Messaging” feature has been temporarily disabled. We are currently working on an update to fix some of the bugs mentioned earlier.

@Automaton959 The “Delete Account” feature was removed after several users abused the system creating issues on our backend.

@nicnicstew Understood, thank you for addressing the issue regarding the missing “Delete Account” feature. Will the “Delete Account” feature return in the future? If not, are there other methods users can take to delete a G + G account?

@nicnicstew with the disabling of the message feature, does that mean any messages we had are gone or when it is enabled again, they will reappear or are they gone for good?
