Elon Musk Mocks Netflix and Wokism

Elon Musk is one of the strangest celebrities out there while also being one of the best and most entertaining. Musk has been a controversial figure of late with his political takes on the war in Ukraine and his constant breaking of the “woke” narrative. Now, Musk is turning his mocking gaze upon Netflix, encapsulated with a simple meme that calls out the streaming service for their history of politicizing stories to the degree that any story or historical event they adapt is robbed of all its original meanings and becomes a pale shade of itself.

Few common sense people who have caught on to the woke sphere in Hollywood would be surprised if Netflix or another company were to make a change to history in this fashion, taking the real-world story and diluting it to be about a completely separate issue that will play better to the Twitter crowd. For those having issues discerning the humorous value from this meme, it is due to the realization that Netflix making the referenced show is painfully possible. In an era when comedy is being progressively banned, and true humor is increasingly waning, it is strange that a businessman is the one to crack a smile from a world made so cynical by the comedy approved by the state that tests no bounds nor truly entertains.
The beauty of Musk is that he stands for a movement that the SJW must support, namely climate change, as he is the largest developer of electric cars. Because of his connection to fighting climate change, the woke mob starts to short-circuit when he comes out with takes and jokes like this. They must implicitly support climate change defenders, yet they also stand diametrically opposed to the other opinions that Musk possesses. This all generates a conflict within SJWs that creates its own sort of humor for the more common-sense-oriented people in the world.
Prior to this tweet, Musk had another that stirred the pot even more, and this was the one that truly broke the Twitter NPCs free of their conundrum of whether or not to support Musk.

These memes combine to create a humorous picture of the corporations propagating propaganda and the mindless drones that consume it at any cost. It will be interesting to see how harsh the backlash to these two simple yet brilliant memes will escalate. As it stands, neither is anywhere close to being ratioed, so those outraged may be vocal but minuscule in the grand scheme of things, as the majority of Twitter users appear to find enjoyment in Musk’s humor. Perhaps a unified attempt to cancel Musk will be commenced, but to no avail, because a man as rich as Musk has no fear for what a few people on Twitter have to say. However, should Musk’s opinion be valued over any other person merely because he is a celebrity, or because he is wealthy, or because he happens to agree with most people? No. It is just entertaining, if nothing else, to see a man like him stand up to the woke mob with such a simple tool. His meme game is strong, and many more humorous antidotes to society’s ills should be expected of him in the future. But for now, people must remember to laugh even in the midst of trying times and/or in the face of insane people, as Musk does.
