No More Star Wars For Mark Hamill

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Mark Hamill discussed his new movie The Machine, as well as Star Wars and his cameos in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. He had some discouraging (but unsurprising) news about the in-development Rey movie, specifically whether he will appear. Check it out here:

“No, I don’t have any expectations of that happening.”

This shouldn’t come as any surprise; Kathleen Kennedy also recently denied any plans to use Luke substantially in the future. However, it will likely disappoint those who think Force Ghost Luke could have saved the Rey movie. I think it’s pretty much DOA no matter what, but I admire their optimism in the face of destruction.
